Chopin: Études, Op. 25 album - Frédéric Chopin
The Études, Op. 25 are one of three sets of Études written by Frédéric Chopin and published in 1837.
The Op. 25 consist of 12 pieces and was the second of the Études to be published and was dedicated to Franz Liszt's mistress, Marie d'Agoult for reasons which have been debated ever since.
While Études are traditionally piano exercises or 'studies', Chopin's Études are remarkable in their own right and as such still form part of the concert repertoire to this day.
